I’m not letting this dumb school make me crazy anymore. If they don’t care, I don’t care. I’ll teach myself everything I need to know– that’s what I have been doing anyway. I did a little experiment last term with a gen ed teacher where I did as little work as humanly possible but I did my final project and I waltzed out with an ‘A’. Thats the general consensus at this school: show up, pass the lame multiple choice tests, dress up on Wednesdays and when it’s all over, they give you a degree and find you a job.
Thats fine with me. I have other stuff to do.

Ecpi is the school of technology that has computer rooms filled with 1988 Aopen peace of crap machines. all of their learning “HANDS ON!” stuff are all broken! I have reached the point in ecpi I am going to do somthing stupid!
You are mistaken Kyle.. ECPI has a brand new web design lab filled with some high-dollar Dell workstations– they are using them to teach an Algebra class. Also, there are the brand new iMacs being used for this term’s Psychology class.
In actuality upgrading the PCs at ECPI Virginia Beach only covers up a deeper problem– poor instruction in almost every program. That’s another post, though. It would be like building a new Ferrari for the Indy 500 when all you have driving is a 16-year-old blind kid who can’t reach the pedals.
