Call me a sexist, male chauvinistic asshole, but I think women have ruined rock. No,I am not talking about female musicians– female music FANS, have ruined rock by taking the undue liberty of saying that every mediocre, ho-hum act from Pete Yorn to Maroon 5 “ROCKS.” Ben Folds doesn’t rock. Jewel has never “rocked out.” The Beatles never “rocked it” (but they did come close in 1966 just before they blew it and stopped touring forever). Additionally, nothing “rocks my socks.” Not you. Not anyone!
