More Smoke
Last night it rained and I had expected to see less smoke drifting in from the Dismal Swamp fire but instead there is even more this morning. I am not particularly sensitive to smells usually but this stuff is killing me. Maybe I am just a selfish, lazy, American without any inkling as to what its like to really work for a living, but how can it possibly take weeks for a mob of firefighters to put out a fire? I guess I just don’t get it.
Surely something similar to this brush fire has happened in Virginia before but I can’t recall ever experiencing thick white smoke drifting in from miles away.
